FUNDING ELIGIBILITY

FUNDING IS AVAILABLE FOR COUNTY RESIDENTS WHO ARE UNINSURED AND/OR UNDERINSURED TO MEET TREATMENT NEEDS!

POLICY
Contingent upon the availability of funds in a given fiscal year and the Consumer’s financial situation (must meet the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines using the 125% income threshold) the Commission can, with the appropriate ASAM level of care recommendation, provide funding for outpatient & if appropriate residential treatment.

PRIORITY TREATMENT POPULATIONS
The Commission and our contracted provider network are required through our contract with the PA Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs to supply priority treatment for: Pregnant Women Who Inject Drugs, Pregnant Women Who Use Substances, Persons Who Inject Drugs, Overdose Survivors and Veterans. Pregnant Women and Women who have recently given birth are entitled to Preferential Services through the Commission. Individuals in these populations can expect to be given top priority when seeking D&A treatment services.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
For the purpose of funding eligibility “Resident” shall be defined as anyone who is living within the geographic boundaries of this SCA (Carbon-Monroe-Pike) for at least thirty-days. A rent receipt, utility bill or other expense invoice with an address can be used to establish residency. Deviation from this definition may be considered on a case-by-case basis through our case management department.
